East London District gave enthusiastic support to the SADF 2.4 km group.(click here for attachment).

Considering that the ex-serviceman (Ian Van) who started it is in Australia and ‘ou manne’ from there, through Africa & UK, to Canada have joined up, it
is a feather in our cap to be the first (as far as we know) to put a ‘platoon’ on the field.
