The Memorial Order of Tin Hats turns 100 in May 2027. A remarkable achievement for any veteran organisation within the South Africa. What makes this even more unique is that the initial criteria to join the Moth, you had to have served in an Operational Environment. The Moth had never concerned itself about your mustering in the army. This again makes it very unique.
The Moth Centenary tab will be used to show the activities and plans of the 100th. Moths will celebrate this milestone for the entire 2027 in every Province.
A 100th booklet Booklet is being published concentrating on the last 50 years of Mothdom in both hard cover and soft cover, and should be available end of November 2026. As part of the various packages these could be bundled with numbered 100th anniversary badge and a signed book. Make sure you dont miss out by working through you Province to get your copy/copies. copies.
