It is with regret that Gonubie Shellhole advise that their oldest member, Moth Butler van de Vyver, 102 years old, passed away at 01h15 on the 23 Sep 2023 with all his family by his side. Moth Butler was a survivor of WW2, prison of war survivor, veteran of the SA Border War and a true gentleman. Moth Butler joined the MOTH in September 1954.

He was a legend and will be sorely missed.
