The Cape Western Provincial Dugout regrets to announce the passing to Higher Command of Moth 22449 Brian Phillip Gombart on 14 August 2025.

He joined the Order on 08 September 2014 and served as duty NCO 2016 -2017 and as SGT MAJ 2017 – 2024.  He served in the Rhodesia Regiments from 1975 – 1976, the Rhodesian Army Pay Corps 1976 – 1978 and the Selous Scouts 1978 – 1980.

He served the Order with great dignity and respect and was a true comrade until the end and will be sadly missed by all.
