Moth Mike Lee was caught by complete surprise at Winston Churchill Shellhole on Thursday evening 7th September 2023, when he was called up on Orders by Old Bill Chris Craig-Mackie. The Old Bill handed responsibilities to Provincial Old Bill Nick Skipworth-Michell who, after the citation was read out, presented Moth Lee with a Certificate for Excellent Service. Moth Lee, who currently serves on the National Executive as the MOTH Museums & Memorials Chairman, was clearly at something of a loss and declined from making any speech after the presentation.

Present at the meeting, and to witness the presentation, included his full MM&M committee, as well as a very good turnout from both his own Shellhole as well as the Mainline District.
